From Gem Hunter to Gem Blast: Preparing for Steam Release

We're launching our game to Steam on August 1st! The process to get from web game to downloadable desktop game has been full of surprises and hard work, but it has also been a lot of fun.

We changed the game's name to Gem Blast. Other than that, many of the improvements needed for the Steam release aren't noticeable on the browser version. But keeping the browser version playable through the transition has been an interesting challenge. Hopefully the game is still fun, still a challenge, and still satisfying to complete.
